Attending a Meeting
The WSCC meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at Christ United Methodist Church, 300 Eye Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. Visitors are always welcome to take part in our meetings. Ring the church's doorbell at the Eye St. entrance to enter the meeting.
The church is convenient to the Green Line Metro Waterfront/SEU station. Free on-street parking begins at 6:30 p.m. along Eye, 4th, and K streets and Wesley Place. Because of the church's proximity to Nationals Stadium, however, on home nights there is no parking along Eye, 4th, or K east of 3rd without a Ward 6 residential parking permit.
Most meetings are preceded at 5:30 by a Dutch treat dinner at a local restaurant: Cantina Marina from March-December and the lounge at the Channel Inn from January-February.
Lot description sheets for use on auction nights can be downloaded here.

This 20¢
stamp was issued on April 21, 1982. It depicts the Library of Congress'
Jefferson Building at Independence Ave. and First St., S.E. Congress authorized
the building in 1886 when it became clear that the Library was outgrowing its
quarters in the North Wing of the Capitol. The octagonal reading room on the
second floor is capped by a 160-foot domed ceiling.
